Undoubtedly, Harry Potter is the most beloved series of 20s generation and still, the series has a special place in our heart.
Growing up in the generation of Harry Potter taught us so many things.
The trio of Hermione, Ron and Harry taught us about Friendship. Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ginny and so many others taught us about love. The whole series gave some lessons about so many things.
The series shows that how Harry survived from the Lord Voldemort because of his mother’s strong love.
JK Rowling taught us how to love the characters in the movie and how to deal with them if they died.
As the series goes on it got much, much worse because Rowling made us love so many characters only take them away later on. Cedric in Goblet of fire, Sirius in Order of Phoenix and the death count rose when series comes to an end.
So here are some major Heartbreaking Deaths in the Harry Potter Series.
1. Fred Weasley
Fred Weasley died during the battle of Hogwarts. He was killed either by explosion or by a part of the castle caving in as a result of explosion. Fred was the twin of George.
Last Words: “You actually are joking Perce, I don’t think I’ve seen you joke since you were-” The air exploded.
2. Sirius Black
The one that really love us, never leave us. Sirius Black was the Godfather of Harry and he was the only family of Harry Potter after his Mom and Dad. He was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange.
Last Words: “Come on you can do better than that”.
3. Severus Snape
After All this time? Always. Until Snape used Always we never thought that “Always” will be the most lovable and heartbreaking word in the Literature. Throughout the series Snape character was shown was Arrogant but in the end the part probably he was the bravest man in the whole series. When Snape was hugging Lilly literally we got tears in our eyes if I am not wrong.
Last words:
Snape: Look at me. *potter looks at him*
Snape: You have your mother’s eyes.
4. Albus Dumbledore
Albus Dumbledore was the most powerful man and most clever man in the series. He was killed by Severus Snape. I really thought that Dumbledore was deathless, but no I was wrong. Dumbledore’s death was so shocking. I kept thinking that Dumbledore will be back.
Last Words: Severus…… Please….
5. Dobby
Dobby has no master, Dobby is a free elf and Dobby lies here a free elf. After Snape’s scene this is the most sad and heartbreaking scene. Dobby was an elf and, he was always there for Harry Potter when Harry was in trouble. Dobby was killed while saving Harry and his friend from Malfoy Manor and he was killed by Bellatrix. This scene literally made us cry.

6. Remus Lupin
Remus Lupin was the Professor of Defense against Dark Arts at Hogwarts. I felt so bad when he left Hogwarts at the end of the prisoner of Azkaban. He was the father figure that Harry never had.
Last Words: “Sorry I will never know him … but he will know why I died and I hope he will understand. I was trying to make a world in which he could live a happier life.”
7. Alastor “Mad Eye” Moody
He was really a mad-eye and one of the toughest of the group. He was killed by Voldemort and his death seemed unlikely, which made it more painful when it happened.
Last Words: “See you all in about an hour at the Burrow. On the count of three. One … two … three.”
8. Hedwig (Harry’s Owl)
She has got a special place in Harry’s heart also she made it so far. She was there for harry when no one else was there.
9. Lavender Brown
Remember that girl who liked Ron. Yes, her death was unexpectedly painful. She was killed by Fenrir Greyback. She was the one who kept Ron and Hermione apart but she didn’t deserve to die.
10. Cedric Diggory
One of the handsome man in the series. The Tri-Wizard tournament took his life.
Last Words: “I dunno. Wands out, d’you reckon?”
11. Charity Burbage
She was the professor of Muggle studies and strongly believed that wizard and muggles are equal. She was killed by Voldemort and her death was terrifying in the movie and sad in books.
Last Words: “Severus … please … please …”
12. Frank Bryce
He was just an old Gardner. His only fault was he walked right into the Voldemort’s and Nagini’s path.
Last Words: “My Lord,’ is it? Well, I don’t think much of your manners, my Lord. Turn around and face me like a man, why don’t you?”
13. Vincent Crabbe
He was mean, rude and stupid he belonged from slytherin and always tortured Harry and the rest of Gryffindors at Hogwarts. But, he didn’t deserve to die.
Last Words: “Like it hot, scum?”
14. Professor Quirrell
He was the one who killed unicorns to sustain his master Voldemort who was living on the back of his head. I felt bad about him because technically Voldemort was the one who made him do those bad things.
Last Words: “Master — I cannot hold him — my hands!”
15. Bellatrix Strange
One of the most loyal servants of the Voldemort. She killed Sirius Black and she was deadly happy about it. She also killed Dobby. Also, she was so scary. She killed by Molly Weasley.
Last Words: “What will happen to your children once I’ve killed you? When Mummy’s gone the same way as Freddie?”
16. Lord Voldemort
Okay, that’s not so heartbreaking death we were actually happy about it that he is dead but yeah at the same time we were sad because the series comes to an end. Right?
Last Words: Avada Kedavra !
