As Delhi University is in the process of admission and it has a procedure.
Here I am listing the procedure, which is important and that may help you to prepare list when you go for the admission.
- Admission in all the colleges of Delhi University based on the merit or entrance criteria.
- Candidates who want to take admission in Delhi University for Undergraduate program(UG) courses (merit-based) must register themselves online on the UG admission portal https://ug.du.ac.in/app/

- Those candidates who qualify the cut off they need to log in to the UG admission portal https://ug.du.ac.in/app/ and there he/she can select college/course where he/she wishes to take admission.
- Candidates need to take print out of admission form and all the necessary documents/certificate and need to report to the college for verification of documents as per the schedule.
- Those candidates who qualify are required to produce the original documents with two sets of self-attested photocopies and also the printout of application form at the time of admission.
These are the following documents they need to produce:
- Certificate of Secondary School Examination/Metric (X class) as a proof of Date of Birth.
- Class XII mark-sheet.
- Character certificate from school/college last attended.
- SC/ST/PwD/CW/KM Certificate in the name of the candidate issued by Component Authority. The name of the candidate taking admission to the college must be the same as on the certificate.
- OBC certificate (in the name of the candidate) issued by Component Authority and a Non-Creamy Layer status certificate for the financial year 2016-2017.
- Transfer Certificate from school/college and migration certificate from Board/University are required from those who passed their senior secondary from outside Delhi
- Two updated/recent self-attested passport size photographs.
- Those who are approved by the college, the college will retain their original documents. If any approved student wants to withdrawal/cancel the admission and if he/she wants to attend another counselling of any other college/institute college will return their documents.
- The selected candidate will pay the online admission fee by logging in to the UG admission portal. It is required for the selected candidate to make the payment till 12 noon of the next day of admission list deadline. If the candidate is failed to pay the feed then his/her admission will get cancel.
- The only admission is confirmed after the realization of admission fee payment. If there is a case that student cancels his/her admission from the college then the amount will be adjusted or refunded by the DU through online UG admission portal.
*DU will retain the minimal amount of the admission fees and rest will refund.
- Only those students will get the admission who qualify cut-off criteria. There is no “first come, first serve” policy.
- The candidate is allowed to take admission only in one course and in one college.
- The candidate who could not take admission in a given cut-off list can be considered for admission in next immediate cut-off list only on the last date of admission, subject to the availability of seats.
