About Central Placement cell at DUThe Central Placement cell at DU plays a very significant role in a student’s life because it provides sublime benefits or opportunities in terms of placements, fieldwork, and internships.
Students of SOL and NCWEB can also become a member of placement cell but they can’t participate in placements, until and unless they will get a call from the companies to participate.

This cell is pertinent to all those students who want to make a future in a corporate world. Quality of Kanack given by colleges is varying college to college and department to department because it is not necessary that the quality of education, talent, and skill is replicable in all colleges.
Mostly, students from the commerce field take active participation in placement cells. Although all departments of students can participate.

Students want to take part in placement or tried to do every possible effort. Members have to do lots of work and research regarding their college and every department because members have to convince subtle and big companies to come to their college and drive the process of placement.
Being a member, there is the requirement of the primary source of information about the student’s academics, their preferable companies, and so on.
Many of us think that the placement process is embarked by the faculty, but it is not true, faculty is there only to direct the members to check and balance the procedures. Apart from this, all the work left behind comes under the authority of members.

Ultimately you become a man of sprits as you will be responsible to call great companies, you will be able to handle talks with the companie’s HR. Such things gonna improve skills like public speaking and situation handling.
You will be getting familiar with companies and their requirements it increases the chance of your selection. You can add this skill to your CV as well, it left a great impact on the interviewee.

Registration process

First, you need to visit DU official website then click on the Student portal then click on registration.
- Now complete your login ID through your email ID.
- Then pay the fee (OBC and General category have 100 rs fees for registration, ST, SC, and EWS has no fees.)
- Your ID card will appear on the desktop then take a printout and paste your passport size photograph on it.
- It will only be verified when there will be a signature of your college principal or head of the department.
