Post Graduation at DU

Registration for a post-graduation at DU will be started after 26 July 2021 and end in August 2021.

Officials said, only after the completion of the registration process, University will release the first cut-off list.

Students are eagerly waiting for the registration form because most of the students of B.A, BSc, B.com, etc prefer to do masters in their respective fields.

Courses like B.A, BSc, B.com, etc demand more experience in their field because those who want to become a teacher or professor will definitely go for post-graduation.

Otherwise, post-graduation is also important to get more experience in a particular field because a master’s degree from a reputed institution will entice the CV.

No Interview for Post-Graduation at DU

This happens the second time in DU, where no interviews for post-graduation students because of this epidemic.

The admission process of sessions 2021-22 will be held through the entrance test only.

Although, students who done their graduation from DU itself, can get admission through merit bases or through the entrance tests.

University decided not to impose any additional criteria for this session.

DU admission Dean Prof Rajeev Gupta told that there will be no additional criteria for post-graduation students in view of this pandemic.

The admission process will be the same as in the previous year.

There will be an admission on 20 thousand seats of more than 70 courses of postgraduate level. 50 percent of seats are reserve for DU students and 50 percent seats for the general public.

Three years of relaxation in caste certificate for OBC students

The teacher organization of the Aam Aadmi Party demanded three-year relaxation in caste certificates for OBC students.

Officials said, for the last one and half years students have not been able to renew their caste certificate due to this covid situation. So, students who have the certificate for the year 2019 can upload it on the portal, accepted by University.

Officials also said, in the previous year students from the reservation category could not fill the form due to non-renewed certificates, Seats were vacant in the previous year of the admission process.
