No Entrance Based Admissions For The Session 2019-20

As the applicants of the 2019-20 session are keeping a keen eye on the changes and updates in the admission criteria, another change was set to arrive their way!

HRD Minister Mr. Prakash Javadekar, on Friday, announced that the ‘Entrance-based’ criteria would be followed rather than the usual ‘cut-off based’ one from this 2019-20 session onwards.
This move was to be made for all the undergraduate courses of Delhi University.

The DU admission committee was preparing on the minute details of the change to be followed up but the members could not reach to a consensus.

Owing to these issues, the Minister had to change his mind and the decision came out as Javadekar told reporters that-“For 2019-20, there will be no entrance test in DU and admissions will be conducted on the basis of Class-XIIth marks.”
