Students on an indefinite Hunger strike protest in Delhi School of Journalism!

Students of Delhi School of Journalism started an indefinite hunger strike protest today against their long awaited demands of ‘requirement of basic facilities’ and ‘high fees’ being rejected. The students demand all the facilities which were promised in the prospectus such as media lab, library, computer lab etc and claim that the fees of Delhi School of Journalism is higher than other colleges of Delhi University, still they lack basic facilities.

Mohammed Ali, student of Delhi School of Journalism says that, “We had complaint to Proctor, DSW and Director regarding our demands for a long time and have sought time to meet the Vice Chancellor thrice.”
He added, “But after no hearing, we adopted Gandhiji’s non-violence way, So that the blind and the deaf administration would accept our demands. And we shall not terminate our hunger strike until our demands are not considered!”
