The Administration Branch of Delhi University on Tuesday organised a live webinar on DU Undergraduate admissions. The live webinar telecast on DU’s YouTube channel and DU Admission Branch’s Facebook page, addressed the issues and queries the aspiring students faced.
Students asked questions concerning the option to edit application forms, date of DUET (Delhi University Entrance Tests) and filling up class 12 results.
The webinar was addressed by Prof. Sobha Bagai, Dean Admissions; Dr. Havneet Gandhi, Deputy Dean Admission and Dr. Suman Kumar, Member Admission Branch.
On being asked about the cancellation of board exams, Dr. Gandhi said “We, at DU, are very sensitive to all the situations prevailing and will take due consideration on the withheld exams and the results not being declared and understand the situation.” Students can select “result awaited” option from the dropbox.
Students are advised to fill the DU online application form “with caution”, since the online DU application process will not have application correction window facility. However, the university will open the link after the last date of DU UG admission registration ends to fill the percentage of marks scored by the students.
The details of Entrance Tests, schedules and centres will be posted soon on the varsity’s official website. The syllabus for the same and other relevant information is available on DU UG admission information bulletin.
DU gives an option for students to apply for a degree and an add on course. Students can also apply for multiple courses.
