The process of admission to over 55,000 seats in Delhi University’s courses will be begun from 22nd May, 2017 with an entirely online procedure.
Candidates seeking admission for undergraduate programmes for merit-based programmes can register online, starting May 22, 2017.
The online registration also includes sports, extra-curricular activities, Kashmiri migrants, children/widows (defence) and persons with disability (PwD) categories. The details of registration process and subsequent admission updates will be published in the bulletin of information soon.
The online registration process for undergraduate courses, in which an entrance test is conducted, will begin from May 31. DU conducts entrance tests for courses such as Bachelor of Management Studies, BA (Hons) Business Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration (financial investment analysis).
DU also introduced 12 new centers for conducting DU Joint Admission Test (DU-JAT) across the country this year including Bengaluru, Nagpur, Delhi, Jammu, Varanasi and Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, NCR, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mumbai, Patna, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram.
For postgraduate courses and research courses like MPhill and Phd, the online registration will also start from May 31, 2017.
Eligible aspirants will have to register online for all the programmes they want to apply on Delhi University’s official site www.du.ac.in.

PG Programmes: May 31, 2017
MPhil, PhD Programmes: May 31, 2017
While applying for the admissions online, here are certain things you need to know:
1) Get the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) forms from Delhi University’s website — http://www.du.ac.in.
2) Make the payment through Internet banking.
3) Once the cut-off list is out, log into the registered account and check whether you have made it to the cut-off list
4) Select the desired combination and then take a print out of the admission form.
5) Report to the college with the application form. Remember to carry all the original documents with their photocopies.
6) An acknowledgement will be given to the candidate.
7) Pay the fee online and key in the acknowledgement number.

The registration form is divided in eight sections. Fill each of these sections. Then click on save. In case you need to correct/ rewrite some details, click on edit.
In the upload section:
a) Upload self-attested passport photo and scanned signature
b) Self-attested copies of Class 10 Board certificate
c) Self-attested copies of Class 12 mark sheet
d) Self-attested copies of reserved category certificates
e) Self-attested copy of sports and extra curricular activities certificate
f) Make payment online
More details regarding the admissions will be released on a press conference which is scheduled for May 21.
According to a source, the cut-off releasing dates will remain the same as earlier.
