CBSE class XIIth result announced today!

As the class 12th (arts, commerce and science) examinations for the session 2020- 21 were canceled, the board has decided on new criteria to evaluate the result of the students. The result will be calculated on the basis of pre-board examinations, mid-term examinations, half yearly examinations, internal assessments and Periodic tests. While the number of 90+ scorers remains almost the same as last year with 1.5 lakh students scoring in the range, the number of 95+ scorers is over 70,000.

The hardcopy of CBSE result for class 12th (arts, science and commerce) is the marksheet. After the result has been announced on the official website of CBSE, the marksheet can be collected from the designated school of the candidate. The school will inform the students to collect their marksheet on a given date.

Education Minister Hails CBSE Class 10 Record-high Pass % | Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a tweet said, “Congratulate my young friends who have cleared the CBSE class XII exams. Happy to learn that CBSE India has achieved a record-high pass percentage. Compliment teachers & parents for their hard work. My best wishes to all the students for their bright future.” To avoid chaos in school, students will be allotted different dates to collect their marksheets along with other important certificates. Students should collect all the necessary certificates from school for future reference. Marksheet is usually available after 20 or 25 days of the declaration of the result on the website. If a student requires result for future admission, the softcopy of result is also a valid tentative marksheet.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a tweet said, “Congratulations to my young friends who have successfully passed their Class XII CBSE examinations. Best wishes for a bright, happy and healthy future.” It is the first-ever result without exams. The mark sheets will be available to download at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in.

What is Tabulation Policy?

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results on basis of an alternate assessment policy after the exams were cancelled in view of the aggressive second wave of COVID-19. According to the new tabulation policy decided by a 13-member panel of the board, the theory paper evaluation formula is 30 per cent weightage to Class 10 marks, another 30 per cent to Class 11 marks and 40 per cent weightage to marks obtained in Class 12 unit test, mid-term, pre-board exams.

100% Pass Percentage achieved by Transgender students. All the transgender students who registered for CBSE class 12 results have cleared the exam. This is a better pass percentage than both binary genders. As many as 99.67% of girls have passed the exam while among boys the pass percentage is 99.13%
