Are we consuming our planet ?

As they say, “Earth has enough for everyone’s need but not for everyone’s greed.” But our consumption patterns leading to increased garbage content has made us to drop to such an extent that we are literally destroying the earth. Our greediness has made us to consider ourselves as a separate identity and we no longer associate ourselves with our Mother Earth.

As a result the earth has started fragmenting and the nature is responding in its own ways. The increased number of diseases evolving today, the increasing number of earthquakes and cyclones, etc. are just a few to mention. We never know where the end lies.

Industrialisation and Consumerism are the two most important factors behind the degradation of our Earth’s quality. We know a lot about it but never take the pain to do something about it. These two factors have led to the rise of Extensive garbage. The garbage content on our earth is not decreasing. Therefore, the best option is to tackle the problem of the source of garbage i.e. industrialisation and consumerism.

A few ways that can help us to tackle the problem can be:

  • Rethinking on the consumption pattern
  • Not indulging into Revenge Purchasing and buying the essentials.
  • Proper waste disposal methods to be adopted by industries and households in a serious and consistent manner.

The most important point to be kept in mind is that WE BELONG TO THE EARTH. If we will not help the earth to rejuvenate , it won’t either will bear human life. Ultimately nature has its own ways of taking revenge as we have been witnessing in the past few days.

NATURE WILL WIN IN THE END.
