SAHYOG a wing of National Service Scheme, Kirori Mal College is a society functioning for the welfare of the under privileged children who lives in the vicinity of the college.
The volunteers make the students learn their subjects and further they teach them about the moral virtues beneath the open sky.
Sahyog with the help of its volunteers and the children are exalting their great grand fete Diwali Mela – AASHAYEIN 2016 for the second time on 19th October 2016.
The event caught many eyes last year and hence is one of the most awaited fests of the college this year as well.
Various stalls with a many decorative items made by the collective efforts of volunteers and children will be there and the money attained by selling these products will again be used for the benefits and welfare of the children. Apart from this, a lot of fascinating episodes will be there to enjoy and adore.The events like rangoli competition and treasure hunt will be testing your talents-one with the colors and creativity while other will challenge your brain finding out hidden treasures within the college.
Many more fun events as Golgappa competition, catch the clip and double dhamaal will be there to entertain you. A potter man will be there for all those having creativity in their hands.
For the chocolate lovers, hand made chocolates will be waiting for them.Beside these events, separate events for the kids are being organised like the lemon race, musical chair, three legged race and spoon race are there which will be equally fascinating.
