The Delhi university took out the results for the second and fourth semester examinations that was conducted in May/ June 2020. The students can now check the results through the website- du.ac.in. The university has earlier taken out the decision to cancel the first and second year semester-end exam which was to be conducted in June 2020 but wasn’t due to the prevailing pandemic conditions . The university has graded first and second-year students on the basis of their internal assessment and their performance in the previous semester.
DU is now supposedly believed to start with the new academic session from August 10 with continuing with online mode of classes for undergraduate as well as postgraduate students .
Meanwhile according to the latest notice the open book exams will be held from August 10 for final year students, even though they have faced constant opposition and criticism from students and teachers alike . They believe that exams be scrapped and students are promoted on the basis of past performance and internal assessment.
