All you need to know about NCWEB

NCWEB stands for Non- Collegiate Women’s Education Board.
NCWEB admits only female students residing within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Women applicants wanting to take admission in DU can also apply for NCWEB in Delhi University which offers the following undergraduate and postgraduate courses: B.A (Programme), B.Com, M.A. in English, Hindi, Pol.Science, History, Punjabi, Sanskrit, and M.Sc. Maths.
There is no separate form for admission in NCWEB but students have to apply for it in their online form for admissions in regular college just by ticking the option of NCWEB and selecting the course interested in.
The admission process is through cut-offs which are usually lower than those for regular college.

•Jesus and Mary College
•SGGSC of Commerce
•Kalindi College
•SPM College
•Lakshmibai College
•Maharaja Agrasen College
•Vivekananda College
 
The classes for NCWEB will start from 1st August. And attendance is compulsory. Only students with minimum 66% attendance are allowed to appear for the examinations.
 
NCWEB is generally preferred by students who want to pursue professional courses such as diploma while pursuing an undergraduate degree to become more employable by the end of three years.
The Non-Collegiate students are however, not allowed to pursue any other full-time degree course from DU. Students have to submit their original certificates at the time of admission and the annual fee is approximately 4,500 per year. However, Rs 100 is charged from disabled students.
Women students get enough time to pursue professional courses and even do regular jobs as they are free for six days, a week. NCWEB classes only happen on Sundays so students can do any career enhancement courses during weekdays.
In the past years, NCWEB is fast becoming first choice of women students with high grades, who want to pursue a profession or any professional course.
NCWEB also provides its students with the option of taking up skill development courses in association with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC).
NSDC holds skill development classes for students in various courses.
